Lake Havasu City continues to bake with triple digit temperatures. So, about the only place you can beat the heat is to jump in the water for a great cool down.
Lake Havasu has over 400 miles of shoreline to enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking and much more during this hot weather. Along the shoreline, there are eight marinas and nine public beaches. As long as you are in the water, you will stay cool.
A great place to cool down with the kids is the Aquatic Center , which has an indoor wave pool, water slides, kiddie lagoon, therapeutic pools, Sun Splash Spray park and lounge areas. Another great place to cool down with the kids is the Nautical Water Park . The park can be found at the Nautical Inn Resort’s beach. The water park features inflatable water slides and water platforms. The slides are called the Iceberg and the Rock Slider, while the platform goes by the name Saturn because it looks like a space ship.
I just can’t think of a better way to beat the heat than to spend the day playing in the water.
