This has been a long time coming considering the reunion took place this past summer. But here are a few photos I took of The Wood Pile Reunion. The first, I hope, of many, many more to come.
It was a great time to socialize with relatives I haven't seen (and in some cases haven't even talked to) in several years. A very special addition to this wonderful event was that my Aunt JoAnn and Uncle Bob were there from Ohio. They've always meant so much to me.
Dale and Toni Kay brought Bill Kommel with them from California. Dana and Becky met up in Vegas (what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas) and then drove together to Havasu; Dana coming into Vegas from Colorado and Becky from Northern California. Heather, Charles and Christopher came in from California, too. Quinn and Angelina drove in from Phoenix. Tonya, Sarah, Randy and Jeri welcomed family and friends into their vacation home. So glad Mandy was able to make it, too. Unfortunately, my Eric, his family and so many more relatives were unable to attend. Watch for a "Save The Date" notice!
Those of us lucky enough to live in Havasu were thrilled to have part in this wonderful event. Tony and I have great kids and fabulous grandkids - they're all geniuses, you know. Mike, Carrie, Kailey and Lincoln live just a couple miles from us. Nick and his wife, Jonna, also live nearby. My Candy, Dillon, Forrest and Summer are always fun to have around.
Some of the events included eating, socializing, eating, drinking, eating, sightseeing, eating - you get the picture.
I loved every minute of it! Can't wait for the next one!
